We don’t want your data!
Really. It’s a burden, and it sucks.
We look forward to a time when companies NEVER take personally identifiable data from customers and we are working as hard as we can to make that future a reality.
But in the mean time, we need a way to reach you to let you know when Simby is ready to launch. The safest mechanism for that is email. So we are allowing people to opt-in to hear from us about Simby and the launch day.
What information do we collect from you and why?
If you’ve shown an interest in the Simby product by opting-in to give us your email address, we will use the email address to send you email ;) SHOCK!
We will send you a total of two emails - and no more!
We will send one email before we launch to let you know wtf is going on so that you can find out before the rest of the world.
We will send the second and final email the day we are ready to reveal to the world what exactly the Simby is.
We are also using Google Analytics on our website to get a rough idea of how many people are visiting our site and from which cities & countries. The data is anonymised and we cannot use it to identify you or spy on you.
How are we storing your email?
The data is stored securely in a database on a secure cloud server. We will never sell the data to any 3rd parties - ever.
If at any stage you choose to opt-out, or unsubscribe, we will purge and destroy your email address permanently from our secure server.
What rights do you have over the information that we hold about you?
Lots. You have the right to know what information we have about you, how we are using it, and you have the right to request a copy of this info at any point in time.
You can also ask for the information to be deleted or amended at any time.
